Vietnamese, Danish PMs hold telephone talks

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Danish counterpart Lars Lokke Rasmussen expressed their delight at growing bilateral ties in diverse fields during their telephone conversation on June 6.

They said both sides offered mutual support in regional and global forums.

The two PMs discussed measures to strengthen Vietnam – Denmark comprehensive partnership, including strategic partnership in climate change, energy, environment and green growth. 

The leaders agreed to work closely together to celebrate the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. 

As Denmark will host the first high-level Global Green Growth Forum in October, Rasmussen invited PM Phuc to attend the event. 

The Vietnamese PM expressed his hope that the forum will devise major orientations and specific actions to fuel green and sustainable growth in the near future.
