Travel agencies asked to suspend tours to/from S. Korea’s COVID-19 affected areas

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has asked travel agencies to suspend tours to and from Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk and other COVID-19 affected areas in South Korea in an effort to prevent spread of the epidemic to Vietnam.

The Administration also asked local Departments of Tourism and travel agencies to inform businesses and tourists about Viet Nam’s measures, including 14-day quarantine for travelers with travel records to the epidemic-hit areas in South Korea.

The local Departments of Tourism and travel agencies need to regularly update and strictly comply with the Government’s COVID-19 prevention regulations in order to ensure safe tourism environment.
