More Vietnamese citizens have registered to return to the homeland due to the complex developments of COVID-19 overseas.

A Bamboo Airways plane carrying the citizens touched down a runway at Can Tho International Airport in southern Vietnam on September 28. Most of the passengers were minors under 18, people with underlying health issues, and other special cases.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore sent officials to assist the citizens with necessary procedures before departure.

Bamboo Airways implemented epidemic prevention measures to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19 during the journey.
